Synopsis

Game warden Joe Pickett finds himself in a desperate race against time and a ruthless killer when a brutal winter storm descends upon Wyoming's Battle Mountain. Discovered with a shotgun handcuffed to his steering wheel and a bow-and-arrow-riddled corpse splayed before him, Joe is immediately thrust into a perilous investigation. The victim, Lamar Gardiner, was a local outfitter, and his murder seems to be just the first warning. As the blizzard intensifies, isolating Joe in the unforgiving wilderness, he realizes he is no longer the hunter, but the prey. With the killer still at large, drawing a deadly bowstring somewhere in the dense timber, Joe must navigate treacherous terrain, battle the elements, and outwit a cunning adversary who seems to know his every move. This gripping mystery plunges Joe into a fight for survival, where the line between lawman and fugitive blurs amidst the breathtaking, yet brutal, backdrop of the American West.
