Out of Range

Synopsis

Game warden Joe Pickett's life takes an unexpected turn when he's tasked with temporarily managing the district of his friend, Clyde Novak, who has tragically died by apparent suicide in the ritzy town of Jackson, Wyoming. The change of scenery from his humble Saddlestring home is jarring, but what truly unsettles Joe is the gnawing suspicion that Clyde's death isn't as straightforward as it seems. Driven by personal loyalty and an unwavering commitment to justice, Joe begins an unofficial investigation into the circumstances surrounding the alleged suicide. His inquiries quickly uncover a series of inconsistencies and dark secrets, pulling him into a dangerous world of corruption, illegal dealings, and influential figures determined to keep their misdeeds hidden. As Joe peels back the layers of deceit, he realizes that the truth behind Clyde's death is far more complex and perilous than he imagined. His relentless pursuit of answers places him directly in the crosshairs of ruthless individuals, escalating the stakes until his own life, and perhaps even his family's, hangs in the balance. Joe must confront this intricate web of danger and expose the truth before he, too, becomes a casualty in a district that's truly 'out of range'.
