Synopsis

Wyoming game warden Joe Pickett is thrust into a covert and dangerous mission when Governor Rulon personally tasks him with investigating the mysterious affairs of reclusive millionaire Lamar Gardiner. Gardiner's isolated ranch is a hotbed of dark rumors: missing women, a private airstrip, and whispers that his vast fortune is built on murder. As Joe delves into Gardiner's world, he uncovers a far more intricate and perilous situation than he bargained for. He finds not one, but two enigmatic men living with the millionaire. One is a hardened, 'stone-cold killer' who instantly perceives Joe as an enemy, escalating the physical danger of the assignment. The other, however, is a figure Joe knows all too well from his past—a revelation that transforms a professional duty into a deeply unsettling personal ordeal. This second individual poses a profound psychological and moral challenge, forcing Joe to navigate a treacherous landscape where the lines between justice, loyalty, and personal history blur, pushing him to his absolute limits.
