A Rule Against Murder

In the sweltering heat of a Quebec summer, Chief Inspector Armand Gamache finds himself not on vacation, but embroiled in a chilling murder investigation at the luxurious Manoir Bellechasse. The Finney family, a dysfunctional and wealthy clan, has gathered to commemorate their late patriarch, but the occasion quickly devolves into a cauldron of long-held resentments and bitter rivalries. Gamache, a guest himself, is now surrounded by suspects, each harboring secrets and motives.
