Synopsis

In a poignant and deeply personal return to where it all began, Hercule Poirot, now frail and crippled by arthritis, summons his old friend Captain Arthur Hastings to Styles Court—the very estate where they solved their first murder together. Both the house and the great detective are shadows of their former selves, yet Poirot's 'little grey cells' remain sharp, albeit encased in a failing body. He reveals to a bewildered Hastings that one of the seemingly innocuous guests is a cunning, untraceable murderer, a 'perfect killer' who manipulates others into committing crimes without leaving any direct evidence. Poirot, knowing his own time is short, charges Hastings with the impossible task of identifying this mastermind before another life is taken. As tensions mount and the past echoes through the dilapidated manor, Hastings grapples with Poirot's cryptic pronouncements and the agonizing realization that his friend is orchestrating his final, most audacious play, forcing him to confront a truth more complex and disturbing than any they've faced before. This is not just a murder mystery, but a profound meditation on justice, morality, and the legacy of a legendary detective.

Critical Reception
