Synopsis

Tally Youngblood has finally achieved her dream: she's become a Pretty. With her flawless looks, constant parties, and a beautiful boyfriend, life in New Pretty Town is a whirlwind of carefree joy. Every desire is instantly gratified, and a hazy contentment blankets all her thoughts. But beneath the glittering surface, a troubling sense of unease persists. Tally can't quite shake the feeling that something fundamental is missing, a forgotten piece of her true self. When a mysterious message from her 'Ugly' past arrives, it jolts Tally's memory, forcing her to recall the brutal truth about the surgical procedures and the insidious control exerted by the authorities. The fun stops cold as Tally grapples with the knowledge that her perfect world is built on a foundation of deception and mental manipulation. She must now decide if the price of beauty and bliss is her very identity, and whether she's willing to risk everything to uncover the truth and reclaim her mind.
