Synopsis

In David Farland's epic 'Worldbinder,' the exiled princes Fallion and Jaz, sons of the Earth King Garborn, clandestinely return to a kingdom teetering on the brink of collapse. As fugitives in their own land, they find little hope left, yet Fallion carries a destiny far greater than merely reclaiming a throne. Blessed, or perhaps cursed, with the formidable power of flameweaving, he is called to heal not just his immediate realm, but all fragmented lands—a task that demands absolute mastery over an ability threatening to consume him. His perilous quest is complicated by an ancient, malevolent adversary, the architect of the cataclysm that shattered a perfect world into countless distorted splinters ages ago. This foe, skilled in dark arts and commanding an army of shadows, seeks to manipulate the fractured worlds for her own nefarious designs. Fallion's ultimate goal is to unite these disparate fragments, reforming the legendary One True World and eradicating the sickness plaguing existence. But with his powerful enemy vying for the same ultimate prize, the fate of all creation hangs precariously in the balance.
