Brotherhood of the Wolf

Synopsis

Brotherhood of the Wolf plunges deeper into the perilous world of Gaborn Val Orden, the Earth King, as he grapples with the aftermath of his hard-won, yet incomplete, victory against the formidable Raj Ahten. Though driven from Gaborn's immediate vicinity, Ahten remains a terrifying force, unleashing brutal attacks on far-flung cities and fortresses, systematically assassinating Gaborn's revered dedicates in a calculated effort to draw the Earth King from his seat of power. The realm of the Runelords is fractured, caught in a desperate war of attrition that threatens to consume all. Yet, as Gaborn and Ahten weaken each other's forces in a brutal dance of conflict, an even more ancient and implacable enemy stirs from the very bowels of the Earth. A primeval darkness, long dormant, begins to issue forth, threatening to engulf not just the warring factions, but all of creation in a cataclysmic struggle that dwarfs even the current devastation. Gaborn must now confront a two-front war, battling both a cunning human adversary and an unimaginable, primordial evil, forcing him to question the true cost of kingship and the ultimate price of survival.
