The Scorch Trials

After escaping the bewildering Maze, Thomas and his fellow Gladers believed freedom was finally within reach. WICKED has meticulously engineered every variable, introducing new, deadly environmental hazards, terrifying Cranks—humans driven mad by a devastating virus—and other desperate groups of survivors whose motives are ambiguous, to say the least. As alliances fray and betrayals loom, Thomas must navigate a landscape of shifting loyalties and life-threatening challenges, questioning WICKED's true intentions and the very nature of humanity's survival. This perilous journey tests their resolve, their friendships, and their will to live, forcing them to confront the devastating truths behind their existence.
