Synopsis

In the sprawling, grimy underbelly of New York City, two seasoned detectives, George Wilson and Rebecca Neff, are thrust into a nightmare as they investigate a series of bizarre and savagely violent murders. The victims are found mutilated beyond recognition, with no clear perpetrator or motive, baffling both law enforcement and forensic experts. As they delve deeper, the evidence points not to human hands, but to an ancient, hidden species of highly intelligent, wolf-like creatures known as the Wolfen. These primal predators have secretly coexisted with humanity for millennia, observing, hunting, and maintaining a delicate balance within the urban wilderness, often preying on the city's forgotten and vulnerable. Now, their existence is threatened, and their ancient patience is wearing thin. Wilson and Neff must confront a terrifying truth: that humanity is not alone at the top of the food chain, and these unseen hunters are prepared to defend their territory and their very survival against the encroaching human world with brutal efficiency.

Critical Reception
