Synopsis

In a distant future fractured by an alien-borne plague, humanity has evolved into two dominant, warring factions: the telepathic Patternists and the mutated, feral Clayarks. Presiding over the Patternists is the enigmatic and immensely powerful Patternmaster, whose thoughts can reshape reality. This intricate society faces internal strife as well, with the Patternmaster's sons vying for ultimate control. Coransee, ambitious and ruthless, seeks to usurp his father's throne, even if it means venturing into the dangerous, Clayark-infested wilderness to eliminate a formidable rival: Teray, a younger, equally powerful apprentice and Coransee's half-brother. As Teray discovers his latent abilities and the true nature of his lineage, he becomes an unwitting pawn in a deadly game of succession, forced to confront his heritage, his formidable brother, and the precarious balance of power that holds humanity's fate in its delicate grip. "Patternmaster" plunges into a world where psychic might, genetic destiny, and primal survival collide in a struggle for dominance.
