The Dead Zone

Johnny Smith, a humble schoolteacher, is thrust into a terrifying new reality after a devastating car accident leaves him in a coma for nearly five years. Upon awakening, he discovers he possesses a disturbing gift: by touching people or objects, he can foresee past events or glimpse into their future, often with horrific implications. While this ability brings him fame and the ability to help others, it also isolates him and exacts a heavy toll on his physical and mental health. His most chilling vision occurs when he shakes the hand of Greg Stillson, a charismatic but volatile politician, and foresees Stillson initiating a global nuclear catastrophe.
