Synopsis

Don Tillman, a brilliant but socially inept genetics professor, lives his life by a meticulously planned schedule, believing logic holds the key to every problem—including finding a wife. He launches "The Wife Project," an elaborate 16-page questionnaire designed to filter out unsuitable candidates based on strict criteria. His perfectly ordered world is thrown into delightful disarray when he meets Rosie Jarman, a fiery, rebellious, and fiercely independent barmaid who, by all his scientific metrics, is the complete opposite of his ideal mate. Rosie drinks, smokes, is habitually late, and embodies chaos, yet she pulls Don into an unexpected adventure: her own quest to find her biological father. As Don reluctantly helps Rosie, his rigid routines crumble, and he finds himself confronting emotions he’s long repressed, challenging his preconceived notions about love, life, and what truly makes a perfect match. This heartwarming and hilarious journey forces Don to re-evaluate his entire understanding of human connection and the beautiful messiness of true romance.
