Synopsis

In the highly anticipated sequel to "The Rosie Project," Don Tillman, the forty-one-year-old geneticist who meticulously orders every aspect of his life, finds his world upended once more. He's now living in New York City, ten months and ten days into his marriage with the free-spirited Rosie. Having successfully navigated the complexities of love and commitment, Don has, to some extent, learned to embrace the delightful chaos Rosie brings. However, their new life together is thrown into delightful disarray when Rosie announces she's pregnant. This unexpected news sends Don into a spiral of panic, as his carefully constructed routines and projections for the future are threatened by the ultimate unpredictable variable: a baby. The book follows Don's hilarious and often misguided attempts to prepare for fatherhood, protect Rosie, and maintain some semblance of order, all while grappling with the profound emotional shifts that come with impending parenthood, further testing the unconventional yet deeply loving bond he shares with Rosie.
