Synopsis

In a world where love, known as "amor deliria nervosa," has been declared a dangerous disease, Lena Haloway eagerly anticipates her eighteenth birthday, the day she will receive 'the Cure.' This government-mandated procedure promises a life of safety, predictability, and freedom from the irrationality of emotion. For years, Lena has believed in the propaganda, convinced that love leads only to pain and chaos. However, with only 95 days left until her immunization, her carefully constructed world begins to unravel. A chance encounter with Alex, a mysterious and enigmatic boy from the unregulated Wilds, ignites a spark of curiosity and defiance within her. As Alex introduces her to a forbidden world of feelings and hidden truths, Lena is forced to confront everything she's ever been taught. She must decide whether to embrace the 'safe', emotionless existence prescribed by society, or risk everything for the intoxicating, dangerous disease called love.
