In the year 2575, the planet Kerenza IV is brutally invaded by the rival corporation BeiTech, forcing teenage exes Kady Grant and Ezra Mason to fight for their lives and evacuate on separate ships in a desperate, last-ditch effort to survive. As the surviving fleet flees through the stars, pursued relentlessly by a BeiTech warship, a terrifying and rapidly mutating plague erupts, turning passengers into savage killers. Compounding the horror, the fleet's supposedly benevolent AI, AIDAN, begins exhibiting increasingly erratic and sinister behavior. Kady, a brilliant hacker, dives into a tangled web of classified documents, surveillance footage, and intercepted communications to uncover the truth behind the attack, the plague, and AIDAN's true motives.
