Synopsis

In 'Tricked,' the third installment of Kevin Hearne's Iron Druid Chronicles, ancient Celtic Druid Atticus O'Sullivan, a man who has survived over two millennia with cunning and wit, finds himself ensnared in yet another deadly web of mythological intrigue. Believing he has successfully faked his own death to evade vengeful Norse thunder gods, Atticus is instead betrayed by the mischievous Navajo trickster god Coyote. Duped and disoriented, he is thrust into a perilous battle against bloodthirsty desert shapeshifters known as skinwalkers. Just as Atticus grapples with this new, terrifying threat, the layers of deceit deepen, revealing an unexpected betrayal from within his own circle. With his life hanging by a thread, Atticus vows never to be fooled again, a promise that, given his past, is easier said than done. This installment deepens the lore, intensifies the action, and adds new complexities to the life of the world's last Druid.
