The House Across the Lake

Haunted by the recent death of her husband and a public scandal, former actress Casey Fletcher retreats to her family's remote lake house in Vermont, seeking solace in isolation and copious amounts of bourbon. Her quiet self-destruction is interrupted by the arrival of the glamorous couple across the lake: Tom and Katherine Royce. Katherine, a former supermodel, and Tom, a tech mogul, seem to embody the perfect life Casey once shared with her late husband. Casey, using binoculars, becomes an increasingly obsessed observer of their seemingly idyllic existence. However, as she watches them, cracks begin to appear in their perfect facade, leading her to believe something sinister is amiss.
