Synopsis

In the climactic conclusion to the Dragonlance Legends trilogy, 'Test of the Twins' plunges readers into a desperate battle for the very fabric of existence. Raistlin Majere, the enigmatic and ambitious mage, stands at the precipice of his ultimate ambition: to challenge the Queen of Darkness and seize a seat among the gods themselves. Having opened the Portal to the Abyss, he descends with the cleric Crysania, whose soul he seeks to manipulate for his grand design. Meanwhile, his twin brother, the warrior Caramon, along with the kender Tasslehoff Burrfoot, is catapulted into a desolate future shaped by Raistlin's potential triumph. Witnessing the catastrophic consequences of such a victory, Caramon finally grasps the immense sacrifice required to halt his brother's world-altering ambition. Supported by unexpected allies and old friends, Caramon faces the agonizing choice of confronting his beloved, yet terrifyingly powerful, twin. The fate of Krynn, and indeed, all reality, rests on Caramon's shoulders as he prepares to make the ultimate journey into the Abyss, not to join, but to stop, the last remaining vestige of his family.
