Synopsis

“Time of the Twins” plunges readers into a pivotal era of the Dragonlance saga, a world still reeling from the War of the Lance. At its heart lies the enigmatic archmage Raistlin Majere, who, from the ominous Tower of High Sorcery, plots a dangerous game: to master ultimate darkness itself. His twin brother, the stalwart warrior Caramon, senses the perilous path Raistlin treads. Alongside Caramon is the devout cleric Crysania, a beacon of Paladine's faith, who naively believes she can redeem Raistlin, unaware she is being drawn into his intricate scheme. Raistlin's ambition soon transcends his own time, aiming to prevent the Cataclysm, a world-shattering event that occurred centuries prior, and challenge the very gods. To confront him, Caramon embarks on a desperate journey through time to the fabled city of Istar, mere days before its destruction. Accompanied by the ever-inquisitive kender Tasslehoff Burrfoot, Caramon must face unimaginable dangers and make a final stand to save his brother's soul and prevent Raistlin from irrevocably altering history and seizing divine power. This epic tale explores brotherhood, sacrifice, the allure of power, and the profound consequences of defying fate.
