Synopsis

In Michael Robotham's chilling psychological thriller, 'Watching You,' Marnie Logan is trapped in a waking nightmare, haunted by the feeling of being constantly observed since her husband, Daniel, vanished without a trace over a year ago. Her life, a desolate landscape of unanswered questions and profound grief, leads her to seek help from clinical psychologist Joe O'Loughlin. Joe finds Marnie unusually guarded about her past, but the investigation takes a sinister turn when she uncovers a meticulously crafted book Daniel was secretly assembling for her birthday. What was intended as a loving tribute to her life rapidly unravels into a disturbing narrative, exposing unsettling revelations about Daniel and Marnie's shared history. As O'Loughlin delves deeper, he uncovers a labyrinth of secrets and a truth far more complex and dangerous than anyone could have imagined, forcing Marnie to confront the terrifying possibility that the man she loved was not who she thought he was, and that the watchful eyes might be closer than she ever dared to believe.
