Synopsis

Haunted by the events of the 75th Hunger Games and the destruction of District 12, Katniss Everdeen finds herself in the underground District 13, a hidden hub of rebellion led by President Alma Coin. Initially reluctant and struggling with PTSD, Katniss is thrust into the role of the 'Mockingjay,' a symbol meant to ignite the districts against the oppressive Capitol. As she navigates the complex politics of the rebellion, deals with the psychological warfare waged by President Snow, and grapples with the fate of Peeta, Katniss realizes the fight for freedom is far more brutal and morally ambiguous than she ever imagined. Her journey becomes a perilous tightrope walk between being a pawn for District 13 and forging her own path towards true liberation, ultimately confronting the devastating costs of war and the true nature of power.
