Synopsis

As Europe plunges into World War II in September 1939, a desperate and disparate group of individuals gathers in Southampton, England, all seeking passage to New York aboard the Pan American Clipper. This luxurious, state-of-the-art flying boat becomes their refuge, a world of opulent lounges and gourmet dining high above the war-torn world. Among the passengers are a fascist English aristocrat attempting to flee with stolen jewels, a German scientist escaping the Nazis, a notorious murderer under FBI custody, a young woman hoping for a new life, and a charismatic, unscrupulous thief. For thirty tension-filled hours, they are confined within this airborne sanctuary. However, the escalating global conflict and the intimate proximity of their journey soon expose their hidden secrets and conflicting agendas. As the Clipper reaches the point of no return over the Atlantic, the journey transforms into a gripping tale of mounting fear, betrayal, and unforeseen dangers, where escaping the war itself might be less challenging than surviving the flight.
