Nestled in the forgotten underbelly of Rigus, the supposedly 'finest city', lies Low Town—a cesspool of vice where drug dealers, hustlers, and corruption reign supreme, all touched by the faint shadow of sorcery. Its reluctant champion is an ugly man known only as the Warden, a disgraced intelligence agent, forgotten war hero, and independent drug dealer. Five years after a precipitous fall from grace, the Warden navigates a life steeped in crime, fueled by cheap violence and expensive drugs, constantly struggling to protect his turf from ruthless rivals. His cynical existence is shattered when he discovers the murdered body of a child down a dead-end street. As a former agent of Black House, the secret police, he knows that murder in Low Town is usually ignored. But this particular death thrusts him back into the dangerous world he abandoned, forcing him into a deadly game of deception orchestrated by underworld bosses and the psychotic head of Black House. The Warden must unravel a truth far darker than he can imagine, in a place where trust is a fatal luxury.
