Grundy Golem, a creature of negligible size and even less self-esteem, embarks on an unlikely quest to prove his worth. Disregarded by everyone, including himself, Grundy volunteers for the perilous journey atop the formidable Monster Under the Bed to the legendary Ivory Tower. His initial mission: to find young Ivy’s long-lost dragon, Stanley Steamer. However, his adventure takes a dramatic turn when he discovers the beautiful Rapunzel, a descendant of Jordan the Barbarian and Bluebell Elf, imprisoned within the Tower by the malevolent Sea Hag. The witch plans to use Rapunzel’s unique lineage to maintain her own immortality. Against all odds, Grundy manages to free the damsel, finding himself pursued by the enraged Sea Hag, who seeks to reclaim her captive and destroy her rescuer. As Rapunzel's ability to transform and shift size makes her the embodiment of Grundy's 'dreamgirl,' he struggles with his own perceived unworthiness, convinced she is destined for someone far grander. This whimsical, pun-filled tale follows the unassuming golem's journey of self-discovery, courage, and the true meaning of heroism, all while the mystery of Stanley Steamer awaits resolution.
