Synopsis

Annie, trapped in a dreary English coastal town and an equally uninspired long-term relationship with Duncan, finds her life irrevocably altered by a single online comment. Duncan's obsession with reclusive American indie rocker Tucker Crowe is the axis around which their world spins. When Tucker's 'lost' album, "Juliet, Naked," surfaces, Duncan's fanatical devotion reaches new heights. However, Annie's candid, negative review on a fan forum unexpectedly sparks a direct correspondence with the legendary, albeit disillusioned, musician himself. This digital connection evolves into something far more profound, forcing Annie to confront her stagnant existence, and Tucker to re-evaluate his decades of self-imposed exile. As their paths converge, secrets are revealed, relationships are shattered, and all three characters are propelled into an unexpected journey of self-discovery, love, and the complex realities behind artistic creation and fandom.
