Synopsis

Twenty years after the catastrophic events that left London a radioactive husk, Tom Natsworthy finds himself drawn back to its dangerous remains. Once a beacon of traction city might, London is now a haunting, desolate landscape, stirring with an unknown power. Tom and his headstrong daughter, Wren, are compelled to uncover the mystery festering within the old city, unaware that their quest places them at the heart of a conflict far grander and more perilous than they could imagine. As the desperate, war-weary armies of the Traction Cities and the fanatical Green Storm converge on London, each believing its secrets hold the key to victory, a deeper, more insidious threat emerges. Meanwhile, Hester Shaw, estranged from her family and haunted by her past, pursues the resurrected Stalker Fang. Fang, now a chillingly calculating entity, harbors a plan to end the incessant war—and all life on the planet—once and for all. The fate of civilization teeters on the brink, as old loyalties are tested and the true cost of survival is revealed in this epic conclusion.
