Synopsis

Seven years after a devastating nuclear war, the isolated community of Point Reyes, California, has carved out a precarious existence. Its inhabitants, though scarred by the cataclysmic event, manage a semblance of normalcy through a barter economy and the ingenuity of local tinkerers. Among them is Bonnie, a young woman who shares an extraordinary, telepathic connection with her undeveloped conjoined twin brother, who resides within her. Their unique bond offers insights into the fractured reality surrounding them. However, this fragile peace is built on a dangerous secret. Unbeknownst to the community, they harbor Dr. Bloodmoney, the very man whose actions triggered World War III and led to the annihilation of millions through nuclear radiation. As the past threatens to resurface and the truth about their protector's dark origins begins to unravel, the community's carefully constructed sanctuary faces an existential threat, forcing them to confront the profound ethical dilemmas of survival, guilt, and justice in a shattered world.
