Synopsis

Thad Beaumont is a moderately successful writer, known for his serious literary fiction, which earns him little. However, his true financial success comes from a dark secret: a pseudonym, George Stark, under which he pens ultra-violent, best-selling thrillers. When the truth of Stark's identity is revealed, Thad and his wife Liz decide to ceremoniously 'bury' the persona, even staging a mock funeral. But Stark isn't ready to die. In a terrifying turn, the malevolent creation manifests physically, emerging from his grave with a thirst for blood and vengeance against those who tried to erase him. As Stark embarks on a gruesome killing spree, brutally murdering anyone connected to Thad's life, the real author finds himself the prime suspect, trapped in a nightmarish web of supernatural terror and police suspicion. Thad must confront his monstrous alter ego, a creature born from his own darkest impulses, in a battle for his sanity, his family, and his very soul, as the lines between creator and creation blur with horrifying consequences.
