The Hungry Moon

Isolated on the atmospheric moors of northern England, the town of Moonwell has long upheld its ancient Druid traditions and rituals. Their quiet, spiritual existence is disrupted by the arrival of Godwin Mann, a fiery right-wing evangelist whose intolerant brand of fundamentalism quickly gains traction among the residents. Mann's crusade takes a dangerous turn when he ventures into a sacred pit, believed to be the dwelling place of an ancient, revered entity. What emerges is not a redeemed Mann, but a sinister demonic presence in his form, subtly poisoning the community. As the malevolent influence spreads, Moonwell becomes increasingly cut off from the outside world, and only a handful of its outcasts recognize the terrifying truth behind the evangelist's facade. They must rally to confront the encroaching evil before it irrevocably transforms their ancient home into a nightmare.
