Synopsis

Korede's life is a constant cycle of bleach, rubber gloves, and nerves of steel, thanks to her beautiful younger sister, Ayoola. Ayoola has a rather inconvenient habit of killing her boyfriends, always claiming self-defense. And each time, it falls to Korede, the ever-responsible older sister, to clean up the bloody mess. While Korede grapples with the moral dilemma of protecting her serial-killer sibling, a deeper conflict arises when Ayoola sets her sights on Tade, the kind, handsome doctor Korede secretly loves and works with. Suddenly, Korede's loyalty to family is pitted against her desire to save the man she cares for from becoming Ayoola's next victim. This darkly humorous and suspenseful novel explores the complicated bonds of sisterhood, the slippery nature of truth, and the lengths one will go to protect family, even when that family is lethally flawed.
