Synopsis

Young Jim Hawkins, an innkeeper's son, finds himself entangled in a thrilling adventure when a mysterious old seaman, Billy Bones, dies at their inn, leaving behind a sea-chest. Within its contents, Jim discovers a treasure map belonging to the infamous Captain Flint. Enthralled by the prospect of immense riches, Jim, along with the local doctor, Livesey, and Squire Trelawney, charters a ship, the Hispaniola, and sets sail for a remote tropical island.
