Synopsis

Imprisoned and facing a murder trial, ex-marine and martial artist Malcolm Lockridge is abruptly thrust into a conflict far beyond his comprehension. An enigmatic and beautiful woman named Storm, representing the futuristic faction known as the Wardens, offers him an impossible deal: freedom in exchange for his aid in recovering a mysterious lost treasure. Malcolm soon discovers the true nature of his recruitment: he is not a treasure hunter, but a soldier conscripted into an ancient, relentless war against the rival Rangers, a conflict unlike any ever fought before. The battlefield spans not space, but time itself, as factions manipulate history across millennia. Malcolm is plunged into a dizzying odyssey through history's corridors, from prehistoric eras to far-flung futures, battling for the very soul of humankind. As he witnesses the brutal realities of this temporal war and the profound impact of altering timelines, Malcolm grapples with the blurred lines between good and evil. He questions his own allegiances and whether he is a mere pawn in a cosmic game, or destined to play a pivotal role in humanity's ultimate fate. His journey forces him to confront the profound moral complexities of power, choice, and consequence when the past, present, and future hang precariously in the balance, challenging his understanding of heroism and villainy.
