Synopsis

In Sandra Brown's "Tailspin," fearless cargo pilot Rye Mallett is known for his ability to fly through any weather to deliver goods, no questions asked. When he's tasked with flying a mysterious black box to a Dr. Lambert in a fog-shrouded northern Georgia town, he expects just another routine, albeit challenging, run. However, his approach turns perilous when a sabotage attempt forces him to crash-land. Instead of Dr. Lambert, he's met by the enigmatic Dr. Brynn O'Neal, who claims she's there to collect the box. Intrigued by the high-stakes mystery surrounding his cargo and undeniably drawn to Brynn, Rye soon finds himself embroiled in a treacherous 48-hour race. With law enforcement and dangerous thugs hot on their heels, Rye and Brynn must navigate a web of secrets, learn to trust each other, and protect the valuable box from those who would kill to possess it, all while fighting for their lives against an unseen enemy.

Critical Reception

"Praised by critics like Stephen King for its 'suspense that has teeth,' this New York Times Bestseller delivers a crisp, edge-of-the-seat thriller packed with twists, lust, jealousy, and murder."
