Synopsis

Former Texas Ranger Crawford Hunt, relegated to desk duty after a reckless incident, desperately seeks to regain custody of his five-year-old daughter. His case lands before Judge Holly Spencer, an ambitious and captivating woman whose professionalism is as sharp as her intellect. During the custody hearing, an unthinkable event shatters the courtroom's decorum: a masked gunman bursts in, his sights fixed on Judge Spencer. Acting on pure instinct, Crawford intervenes, pursuing the assailant, only for the authorities to mistakenly apprehend the wrong man. This leaves the true threat, a dangerous, unknown entity, still at large and posing a grave danger to Holly. As Crawford, haunted by his past and driven by a need for justice, finds himself embroiled in the search for the real gunman, he risks jeopardizing his custody case. Simultaneously, an undeniable, forbidden attraction sparks between the disciplined lawman and the principled judge, complicating their already perilous journey through a web of crime, danger, and deeply buried secrets.
