Synopsis

In the gripping thriller '18th Abduction', San Francisco Sergeant Lindsay Boxer faces one of her most perplexing cases yet when three seemingly unrelated teachers vanish without a trace. With no clues or suspects, the clock is ticking, and the odds of finding them alive diminish with each passing hour. Meanwhile, Lindsay's husband, Joe, finds himself entangled in a separate, equally disturbing mystery. He encounters a woman who claims to have seen a notorious war criminal from her Eastern European past, now walking freely on the streets of San Francisco. As Joe delves deeper into this chilling revelation, his informant disappears, drawing a dangerous link between the two seemingly disparate investigations. It falls to Lindsay, Joe, and the entire Women's Murder Club – a formidable team of professional women – to combine their unique skills, decipher the connections, and confront a monstrous evil threatening their city and their lives.

Critical Reception
