Synopsis

Joe Goldberg, the charming yet deeply disturbed protagonist, attempts to shed his blood-stained past and reinvent himself in the sun-drenched facade of Los Angeles. After his deadly escapades in New York, Joe hopes that the city of second chances will allow him to finally find his elusive 'true love' without leaving a trail of bodies. He effortlessly blends into the Hollywood scene, working at a bookstore and pursuing a new relationship with Love Quinn, an aspiring chef from a wealthy family. However, Joe's meticulously constructed new life is constantly threatened by the ghosts of his past. The 'hidden bodies' he thought he'd buried firmly refuse to stay that way, re-emerging like dark thoughts to jeopardize his pursuit of happiness. As his secrets relentlessly resurface, Joe finds himself in a desperate struggle to protect his new love and his carefully curated image, forcing him to confront whether he can ever truly escape his own predatory nature and the consequences of his obsessive desires.
