Synopsis

Cath and Wren are identical twin sisters, inseparable until their freshman year of college. While Wren eagerly embraces her newfound independence, determined to shed her 'other half' identity, Cath finds herself adrift and overwhelmed. A devout fanfiction writer, Cath has always found solace and confidence in her online world, where she can craft epic romances far grander than her own life. Now, thrust into a demanding university environment without her sister as a buffer, Cath struggles with debilitating shyness, a surly roommate, and an intimidating creative writing professor who disdains fanfiction. As she navigates new friendships, a burgeoning romance with her roommate's charming, ever-present boyfriend, and the ongoing anxieties about her fragile, newly-single father, Cath must confront whether she can open her heart to real-world experiences and discover a voice beyond her fanfiction, ultimately learning that love, in all its forms, is far more complex and rewarding than she ever imagined.
