Eugenia Swift, a discerning art historian and director of the Leabrook Glass Museum, finds her refined world upended when she's tasked with cataloging an important art glass collection on the enigmatic Frog Cove Island. Murmurs of foul play surround the collector's recent death, prompting the museum to insist she collaborate with Cyrus Chandler Colfax, a gruff private investigator whose appreciation for art extends little beyond a frosty beer bottle. To infiltrate the tightly knit, art-centric community and uncover the truth, Colfax declares they must pose as a married couple.
