Synopsis

Ten days after a horrific traffic accident claims the life of a Brighton University student, Carly Chase is still reeling from the trauma. Her world is then shattered anew with the chilling news: the drivers of the other two vehicles involved have been found brutally tortured and murdered. Detective Superintendent Roy Grace of the Sussex Police delivers a stark warning to Carly – she is next. The deceased student was entangled with dangerous connections, links that stretch across the Atlantic to a powerful American organized crime syndicate. Someone has sworn revenge for the student's death and will not rest until every person involved in the fateful accident is dead. The police urge Carly to go into hiding and assume a new identity, but a terrified yet determined Carly refuses. She knows these ruthless individuals will find her anywhere. Realizing the police might be powerless to stop them, she resolves to confront the threat herself. Yet, the unseen killer is already one step ahead, watching, waiting, and ready to strike.
