Four to Score

Stephanie Plum, Trenton's most unconventional bounty hunter, finds herself embroiled in another chaotic adventure in 'Four to Score.' Working for her unscrupulous cousin Vinnie, Stephanie is tasked with bringing in Maxine Nowicki, a revenge-seeking waitress accused of bail jumping, theft, and extortion. However, Maxine isn't just a skip; she's a target, as those associated with her mysteriously turn up dead, escalating the danger. Stephanie's pursuit is further complicated by the arrival of her arch-nemesis, rival bounty hunter Joyce Barnhardt, also on Maxine's trail. Amidst explosive encounters, threatening messages, and firebombs, Stephanie relies on her quirky entourage: the gun-toting Grandma Mazur, the irrepressible ex-hooker Lula, and the flamboyant transvestite rock musician Sally Sweet. Adding to the mayhem, a bout of homelessness forces Stephanie and her hamster Rex to move in with the notoriously charming, yet infuriating, vice cop Joe Morelli, leading to a precarious cohabitation and a fresh layer of romantic tension.
