Synopsis

Struggling New York couple Rosie and Chad Lowan receive an unexpected inheritance: a luxurious apartment at the historic Windermere in Murray Hill, bequeathed by Chad's late uncle. This pre-war building, with its old-world charm and uniformed doorman, seems like a dream come true, offering a fresh start from their financial woes. However, as they settle into apartment 5B, Rosie's initial delight gives way to unease. She can't shake the feeling that something is amiss beneath the building's pristine facade. The ever-present doorman, the pervasive surveillance cameras, and a disturbing history of gruesome crimes within the Windermere's walls begin to gnaw at her peace of mind. The seemingly welcoming tenants and the building's eccentricities soon reveal a sinister undercurrent. When one of their new neighbors is found dead, Rosie is plunged into a chilling investigation. She must unravel the Windermere's dark secrets and expose the truth before she, too, succumbs to the building's dangerous and potentially deadly grip.
