Struggling New York couple Rosie and Chad Lowan receive an unexpected inheritance: a luxurious apartment at the historic Windermere in Murray Hill, bequeathed by Chad's late uncle. This pre-war building, with its old-world charm and uniformed doorman, seems like a dream come true, offering a fresh start from their financial woes.
