Synopsis

Frank Pollard is tormented by a terrifying ordeal: he repeatedly awakens in strange, often nightmarish, locations with no recollection of how he got there. Fearing for his sanity and life, he seeks help from the unconventional husband-and-wife detective team, Nick and Julie Dakota. As the Dakotas begin their round-the-clock surveillance, they uncover a bizarre and horrifying truth far beyond simple somnambulism. Frank's nocturnal journeys are not just random; they are involuntary transports to places of unspeakable evil, each seemingly linked to a sinister conspiracy. The detectives soon find themselves ensnared in a desperate race against time, confronting a hidden world of psychics, assassins, and a malevolent force that seeks to control Frank's unique ability for its own dark ends. As the body count rises and the boundaries of reality blur, the Dakotas must unravel the mystery of 'The Bad Place' before Frank is irrevocably lost to its grasp, and the chilling truth consumes them all.
