Synopsis

In Steve Cavanagh's 'The Liar', the third thrilling installment of the Eddie Flynn series, former con artist turned hotshot criminal attorney Eddie Flynn finds himself embroiled in a deeply personal and treacherous case. Leonard Howell, a desperate father, turns to Flynn after his daughter, Caroline, is kidnapped, believing the police are insufficient. Having experienced the pain of losing a daughter himself, Flynn vows to bring Caroline home. However, as he delves into the murky New York underworld he once knew intimately, Flynn quickly realizes that this case is far more complex than a simple kidnapping. The rules of the game have changed, and he is being manipulated by an unseen puppet master. With twists and turns at every corner, Flynn must navigate a web of deceit where no one seems to be telling the truth, and everyone has something to hide, forcing him to question who is deadlier: the one who knows the truth or the one who believes a lie.

Critical Reception
