Synopsis

Daniel Miller, a notorious serial killer responsible for fourteen horrific murders, has vanished. Now, his wife, Carrie, stands trial as his accomplice, facing the judgment of the FBI, the District Attorney, the media, and a nation convinced of her guilt. Enter Eddie Flynn, an unconventional lawyer who only takes cases where he believes his client is innocent. Against overwhelming public and legal sentiment, Eddie must prove that Carrie was oblivious to her husband's monstrous secret, an arduous task as he and his team are the sole believers in her innocence. But the unfolding trial forces Daniel Miller out of hiding. Driven to protect his wife from a life sentence, he resurfaces, intent on eliminating anyone who stands in his way – a list that tragically includes Eddie Flynn. As Eddie fights to clear Carrie's name in court, he simultaneously becomes a target in a deadly game of cat and mouse, where justice and survival hang precariously in the balance.
