Synopsis

Four years after LAPD detective Harry Bosch controversially shot and killed Norman Church, the notorious 'Dollmaker' serial killer, Bosch finds himself in court, accused by Church's widow of murdering the wrong man. As the civil trial unfolds, casting a shadow over his career and reputation, Bosch is chillingly reminded of his past when he receives an anonymous note. This note, eerily mirroring the taunts of the original Dollmaker, leads him to a fresh corpse, suggesting a horrifying truth: either Church was indeed innocent and the real killer is still at large, or a depraved copycat has emerged, intent on continuing the Dollmaker's gruesome legacy and dismantling Bosch's life in the process. As the legal battle intensifies and new bodies surface, Bosch must navigate a labyrinth of doubt, a hostile public, and a cunning adversary to prove his actions were justified and to stop a new wave of terror before it consumes him entirely. 'The Concrete Blonde' is a relentless psychological thriller that blurs the lines between justice and obsession, forcing Bosch to confront his deepest fears and the very nature of guilt.
