Synopsis

In the third installment of Ian Rankin's acclaimed Inspector Rebus series, 'Tooth and Nail,' Edinburgh's maverick detective, John Rebus, finds himself reluctantly dispatched to London. He's been hand-picked by Scotland Yard to assist in the hunt for a terrifying serial killer, dubbed 'the Wolfman,' who is preying on the capital's vulnerable. Out of his element and clashing with his Metropolitan Police colleagues, Rebus is a fish out of water in the bustling metropolis. As the brutal case begins to consume him, Rebus is forced to collaborate with a psychological profiler to delve into the mind of the dangerous psychopath. The investigation drags him through the darker corners of London, testing his resolve and challenging his unconventional methods. The closer Rebus gets to unmasking the killer, the more he finds himself entangled not only with the case's grim realities but also with his only ally in the capital, potentially putting both of them in the killer's sights. This intense cat-and-mouse game threatens to have deadly consequences, pushing Rebus to his limits in a city he despises.
