Synopsis

Set in the vibrant, modern metropolis of Lunathion, also known as Crescent City, "House of Earth and Blood" introduces Bryce Quinlan, a half-Fae, half-human who lives a seemingly carefree life of parties and revelry. Her world shatters when her closest friends, including the Alpha of the Pack of Devils, Danika Fendyr, are brutally murdered. The prime suspect is captured, but the truth remains elusive, leaving Bryce consumed by grief and a burning need for answers. Two years later, the city’s archangels, the Asteri, assign a formidable, enslaved angel assassin, Hunt Athalar, to work alongside Bryce to investigate a new series of murders eerily similar to Danika's. As Bryce and Hunt delve deeper into the city's dark underbelly, they uncover a sprawling conspiracy that reaches the highest echelons of power and threatens to unravel the fabric of their world. Bound by a reluctant partnership and simmering tension, they navigate treacherous political landscapes, ancient magic, and their own complicated pasts, discovering that some secrets are worth dying for, and some connections are worth fighting for, all while battling formidable enemies and their own burgeoning feelings.
