Stormy Weather

In the wake of a catastrophic hurricane that rips through southern Florida, the already peculiar landscape descends into a maelstrom of opportunistic chaos. As insurance fraudsters, amateur occultists, and cunning ex-convicts descend upon the disaster zone, the stage is set for Carl Hiaasen's signature brand of satirical mayhem. Caught in the bizarre whirlwind are Max and Bonnie Lamb, honeymooners whose well-laid Disney World plans are abruptly abandoned in favor of witnessing the raw, terrible devastation.
