Synopsis

Set centuries before the events of the original Shannara trilogy, 'First King of Shannara' delves into the cataclysmic origins of the Four Lands' most enduring conflict. Following the devastating First War of the Races, the Druids of Paranor dedicate themselves to ancient sciences, but a new, more sinister threat emerges from the Northlands. The renegade Archmage Brona, a former Druid corrupted by dark magic, leads an seemingly invincible Troll army, intent on subjugating all races. It falls to the sagacious Druid Bremen, skilled in arcane arts, and his small band of allies to uncover Brona's secrets and unite the disparate peoples of the Four Lands. Bremen's perilous journey into the heart of the Troll stronghold reveals the true magnitude of the danger, emphasizing the desperate need for a powerful, unifying weapon—one capable of standing against the terrifying might of Brona, the Warlock Lord, and saving their world from eternal darkness.
